We Are Working On Three  Dinosaur Blankets And Toys Here At Grandma's Blankets: 2 Done One To Go We are working on 2 of the blankets and I'm about to start on number three. I'm nearly finished with the dinosaur I've been working on.  Then I will have two more to make.   I will send you updates upon the completion of the projects.   Then we will be able to send out two boxes and start filling another. Finished Another Quilt And Elephant Pillow Toy (Grandma's Blankets)

This is my second quilt it's for another little girl.   I won't be sending out any quilts  until I get two more quilts completed.  The next two are for boys. I will be adding to this post when I've completed a  matching  plush pillow or toy. This is a product of "Grandma's Blankets" a ministry of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

I Made A Skirt For My Daughter

I Made A Skirt For My Daughter The skirt is folded in half in this picture.  I completed the skirt this afternoon, though I started it quite a while ago.  I embroidered the butterfly appliques and completed the lace at the bottom.  This is the finished product.

Simple Harvest Pillow Craft

I made this pillow today.  It is very simple to make. Here's what you need to make it.  1. 2 1/2 yards of 21/2 wide fall ribbon 2. 1 1/2 yards of heavy jute (twine) 3. 2 already quilted harvest fabric rectangles 13X18 4. A rectangle pillow form slightly smaller. 5. Thread, Needle, Sewing Machine. Hot glue, scissors  Sew together your quilted harvest fabric with faces together. Around 1/4 - 3/8 inch Sew all the way around except for the one end, sew that end half way - trim  the corners. Pull inside right.  Make sure the corners are pushed out. Stuff your pillow form into your quilted case. Squeeze the pillow form and push around until you get it inside. Make sure the corners meet the corners and the sides meet the sides. Tuck your open end inside slightly about 1/4 inch as you sew it shut with  a needle and thread. Tie the ribbon around your pillow and use three layers of jute to tie a bow and glue it on at the ribb
